Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client's Learning Disabilities team, based in Manchester Council. This is a locum role offering £30 per hour. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will: Undertake strength‑based assessments including Care Act assessments, reviews, and Mental Capacity Act assessments for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring needs, risks, and desired outcomes are clearly identified Develop and coordinate personalised care and support plans, commission services, and manage a varied caseload to promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health services, providers, families, and safeguarding partners Complete safeguarding enquiries and manage risks effectively while promoting the rights and safety of adults with learning disabilities Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice Qualifications & Experience: To be successful in this role you must have: Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK driving licence Post-qualified experience Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
