Grade Level (for internal use): 12 The Team: Our S&P Global Market Intelligence - Global Insight team offers a world-class portfolio of solutions addressing dynamic geo-political and economic challenges. This team is at the forefront of driving sales and growth of market-leading Risk, Compliance, and Economics products in Taiwan, fostering a highly collaborative environment with product, marketing, and subject matter experts to deliver substantial and sustainable growth . Responsibilities and Impact: - Drive sustained new business growth in core sectors across Taiwan by evolving and executing regional sales strategy. - Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate new business opportunities and effectively prospect accounts to identify key contacts. - Engage in C-level conversations to discover sales opportunities and drive deals from a senior level, understanding customer workflow challenges. - Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and Subject Matter Experts to provide product feedback and support in concept development. - Manage and maintain accurate Salesforce notes and data to illustrate work activities and sales pipeline, ensuring strong commercial discipline. - All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week .
Requirements
- Basic Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of proven experience in a revenue generation role with a data/information/software vendor or similar, with exposure to regulatory activity .
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbally in Chinese and English.
- Proven ability in client prospecting and closing large-value sales across multiple stakeholders at various seniority levels.
- Strong understanding of customer workflow challenges and familiarity with consultative sales methodologies.
- We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer .
- Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience of Trade finance or Economics.
- Actively listens to others to understand their perspectives and responds in an appropriate and empathetic manner, building strong client relationships .
- Communicates effectively, expressing their own thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including C-level stakeholders .
- Manages meetings/projects effectively, setting clear agendas to ensure productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced sales environment .
- Proactively seeks out new information to broaden perspective and generate new ideas for market development and strategy execution .
