Accounting Analyst II

About the role

Processes invoices from customer service, validating purchase order details (pricing, shipment status, quantities, releases) and resolves exceptions Prepare and distribute daily sales updates based on invoiced activity across Development and Commercial workstreams Produce consolidated headcount reporting for actuals and forecast Balance and process payroll entries including related accruals. Develop A/R flash reporting and provide account-level commentary for leadership review Reconcile balance sheet accounts without subledger support; investigate variances, understand end-to-end account flows, and resolve issues Utilize JD Edwards 9.1 (ERP) for accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting. Leverage direct download capabilities to streamline data entry and use extraction features for ad-hoc projects and analysis Ensure SOX accuracy and compliance, coordinate changes, and assist with audits and testing Other duties as assigned The Candidate: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, required Minimum one year of General Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with accounts payable JD Edwards ERP experience preferred Knowledge of various computer software programs including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.
