Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience.
Professional certifications such as CCP, SHRM, or SHRM-CP.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in human resources or related field.
Advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP).
Experience with HRIS platforms.
Knowledge of employment law, payroll and HR compliance.
Experience administering HR policies, benefits programs, and performance management programs.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:
Plans, develops, recommends, and implements human resources activities, policies, procedures, and programs for an organization, assisting upper management as requested.
Manages activities relating to staffing, employee education and training, management development, labor relations, affirmative action, benefits administration, and salary administration.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Keeps records of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Conducts benefits analyses.
Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.
Participates in compensation and benefit surveys and/or conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate and remain apprised of current trends.
Writes separation notices for employees separating with cause, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Prepares employee handbooks; writes HR and operational policies.
Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
Hires, trains, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
May represent company at HR related hearings and investigations.
Administer pre-employment tests to applicants.
Manages payroll processes.
Writes job descriptions.
Understands and applies labor, wage and hour laws.
May be required to occasionally work extended hours, or travel to/work from different firm offices and/or client locations.
