Join our team and start your journey today! We are seeking a General Accounting Senior Analyst to join a growing finance team supporting operations across Europe, IMEA, and APAC. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic, international environment while contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and financial reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting month-end activities, tax compliance, reconciliations, and various finance transformation initiatives. This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Perform general accounting and tax-related activities. Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information to internal stakeholders. Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items, ensuring timely resolution. Prepare accounting memorandums for complex group transactions. Assist with month-end close activities and the preparation of management accounts. Provide tax support, including monthly VAT reviews, preparation, and submissions. Support merger and acquisition activities on an ad-hoc basis. Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and controls. Support financial data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special projects. Collaborate with finance colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple international locations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience working with Oracle ERP systems. Previous experience supporting multinational or international organisations. Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimisation and automation.
