Preferred Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; or equivalent work experience
Required 7+ Years in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management, or related functions
Experience negotiating and managing sourcing agreements.
Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies.
Experience managing US government procurements in healthcare industry. (preferred)

The role is responsible for developing, managing, implementing, and leading strategic sourcing opportunities to improve the organization's overall financial position. This role actively contributes to the execution of procurement and sourcing strategies through negotiating complex contractual agreements, category management, key stakeholder management, supplier management, and demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional projects. The role leverages market intelligence and industry knowledge to lead major initiatives and RFx processes, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical business requirements and manage the status of all sourcing activities. It provides stakeholders with insights on mitigating risk, forecasting demand, and optimizing value within the sourcing process, market options, and available solutions versus business objectives. Additionally, it may be responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best cost, and competitive advantages.
Manage and grow assigned categories through new agreements, contract enhancements, and utilization
Engage with stakeholders to optimize supplier selection and drive cost reduction initiatives
Lead major projects including RFx development, bid process oversight, negotiations, and contract execution
Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement sourcing strategies and enhance contract performance
Plan and communicate project status to maintain stakeholder relationships and identify strategic opportunities
Develop comprehensive category strategies and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies
