We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Director to join our Indianapolis team. In this role, you will serve as a lead for all dual credit processes for Indy area high school partners, including your own assigned schools. This includes development of professional relationships with secondary school administrators, guidance counselors, secondary school instructors, college program chairs (or department heads), students, and parents. Will manage new instructor credentialing, lead new teacher trainings, and support the College Connection Coaches in new student application and registration process, the identification and implementation of dual credit pathways resulting in successful completion of certificates or degrees prior to high school graduation. You will leverage your technical and functional abilities to track and implement strategies to ensure all NACEP requirements are met. You will also advise, mentor, and assist high school aged youth with their high school-based college courses and pathways. This position is part of a team focusing on dual credit and works with a K-14 transition team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising, project management, and communication skills, coupled with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and data driven results in a dynamic environment. ***RESUME AND COVER LETTER REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION*** Required Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills: Have expertise in using multiple student tracking software systems, including, but not limited to Banner, Dual Enroll, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canvas, and Salesforce. Strong data management skills are used to assist the department in decision making. Hands-on experience in tracking students' progress in completing applications, assessments, registrations, and academic progress toward a completion. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and provide data-driven solutions for our high school partners to assist students through their academic journey with Ivy Tech. Monitor student software systems to ensure completion of NACEP compliance. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Hands-on experience in managing a classroom, presenting to high school students and administrative teams. Ability to work as with and as a team for a common goal. Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, make decisions independently, and solve complex problems in a timely manner. The ability to go beyond the easiest or surface answer for a student, or an internal or external customer, and get to the root cause of the problem, question or issue to solve it as quickly and professionally as possible. Teamwork: Proven experience in collaborating effectively with diverse teams to achieve common goals. Engage in behaviors that create an inclusive environment in which all people are valued and supported. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and track progress in a fast-paced environment. A strong ability to pull, collect, and analyze data efficiently and effectively. Hands on experience using databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems is required.
