Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate - Client Role

About the role

Our client, a growing alternative investment manager, is seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to join its capital formation team. This individual will play a key role in supporting fundraising initiatives, investor communications, and business development efforts across the firm's investment strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, investment professionals, and cross-functional teams to help deliver a best-in-class investor experience while supporting the firm's continued growth. This role offers significant exposure to fundraising, product positioning, investor reporting, and strategic projects within a collaborative investment environment.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience within investor relations, capital raising, fundraising support, investment banking, private credit, private equity, asset management, or a related financial services environment.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop polished, professional investor-facing materials.
• Experience supporting RFP, DDQ, consultant questionnaire, or institutional fundraising processes.
• Ability to synthesize complex financial and investment information into concise, compelling content.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with institutional investors, consultants, placement agents, or fundraising teams is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional designation is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
