What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and work areas. This role supports the kitchen team by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe working environment while following hotel and health department standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines and manual methods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and kitchen areas.
Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when requested.
Maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
Ensure safe operation of dishwashing equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned.
