About the role
BBHCP PE Associates are actively involved in all aspects of the investment process, including investment thesis development, sourcing, diligence, structuring and deal execution, portfolio monitoring and support, and exit. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Creating financial models with multiple scenarios involving different investment, capital structure, and acquisition assumptions Conducting financial, industry, and company due diligence Identifying potential investment theses and conducting industry research to validate / test theses Developing materials that present the deal team's thesis to the CP PE team and investment committee Assisting in portfolio company performance monitoring and financing activities, including in support of financing and add-on acquisition strategies Supporting strategic initiatives at portfolio companies In BBH's consensus-driven culture, Associates are also often asked to present findings and perspectives to the broader BBHCP PE team and interact directly with management teams at prospects and portfolio companies. Key Qualifications BBHCP is seeking candidates with 2-3 years of Investment Banking, Private Equity, or other M&A related finance experience, in addition to: outstanding academic credentials, ability to successfully multi-task, ability to work well in teams, and outstanding written and spoken communication skills. Salary Range $100,000-$140,000 base salary + annual target bonus BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing.
