Operating primarily within a designated Primary Market (United Kingdom (UK)), you will also flex across additional markets as business resourcing needs evolve. This may require working across time zones to ensure seamless delivery against KPIs and service expectations.
End-to-End Resourcing:
Lead the full Experienced Hire resourcing process, ensuring seamless, high-quality, and compliant delivery.
Conduct job briefs, assessments, and manage offer and regret processes to achieve strong Hiring Manager satisfaction.
Know your Market:
Develop deep understanding of business and country requirements and cultural enablers within the United Kingdom (UK) market.
Work with Sourcer to build and nurture pipelines for key skill pools, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality candidates.
Candidate & Stakeholder Experience:
Represent Shell and our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) confidently in all interactions.
Create a world class candidate experience that converts talent into successful hires.
Build strong, trusted relationships with Business Leadership Teams, HR, and Talent Advisors.
Collaboration & Project Delivery:
Work across skills and lines of business to achieve shared resourcing goals.
Collaborate and work as One team with IR/HR Eco system for End-to-End delivery of resourcing, specifically with Sourcers, Marketing, Assessment Management, Hire and Onboard, HR Advice, Policy and Benefits and Pay teams.
Actively contribute to the global community of Recruiters.
Participate in and at times lead, local, regional, and global resourcing improvement projects.
Operational Excellence:
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across processes and tools.
Strictly adhere to and safeguard compliance and uphold high standards of data quality and integrity.
Champion globally standardised resourcing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What you bring
8+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience supporting UK and/or European markets, with strong expertise in recruitment techniques, tools, and talent strategies.
Solid understanding of UK/EU HR policies and local employment legislation.
Proven relationship building skills, with the ability to convert candidates and influence a range of stakeholders.
Strong team player who fosters inclusive, supportive collaboration.
Skilled in navigating challenging conversations and market dynamics with confidence and professionalism.
Ability to use data and insights to monitor performance and shape strategy.
Ability to multitask effectively across multiple roles and priorities.
Expected digital and data savviness to analyse resourcing trends in market and self-manage KPIs.
Resilient, agile, adaptable and able to operate in a fast-changing business and talent landscape.
Demonstrated commitment to compliance, data quality, and housekeeping practices.
A strong curiosity to learn and demonstrated ability to nurture a psychologically safe and inclusive environment within which teams and individuals can thrive.
This role follows a defined shift pattern based on the markets supported. The working hours are: 12pm-9pm. Also, this role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in the office.
In addition, employees are expected to maintain reasonable flexibility to adjust their working hours when required to engage with candidates, hiring managers, or stakeholders across time zones. Flexibility may include work outside of the standard shift.
