Pay Rate: $10,476 - $13,286 per month ( Engineering Management pay plan ESM IV Step 1-13) Hiring Rate: $10,476 - $11,117 per month (Engineering Management pay plan ESM IV Step 1-4 DOQ) Job Closing Date: June 11, 2026 with weekly reviews. Note: If candidate is found, job posting will be closed before June 11th closing date. There is one Engineering Senior Manager IV opening with the Yakima County Public Services Department. Under the direction of the Public Services Director, serves as the Assistant Public Services Director responsible for the overall management, coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of delegated portions of the Public Services divisions, ensuring implementation of department-wide strategic priorities, modernization initiatives, process improvements, and consistent operational performance across the department. This position is responsible for in the overall management of the environmental services programs. Directly responsible for supervising approximately 80 employees with an annual budget of more than $20 million, the position is responsible for program development, capital and maintenance program administration and budgeting for the Solid Waste Division, Water Resources Division, Water and Wastewater Utilities Division. Responsibilities

• Essential Duties:
• Evaluates functional area workload and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners and the Public Services Director regarding functional area staffing levels, and makes determinations whether to accomplish work with county staff, or to use outside consultants or contractors.
