Job Description: The Department of Surgery and the Division of Podiatric Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) are recruiting a full-time podiatric foot and ankle surgeon to join Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians. The successful candidate will provide clinical and surgical care at BIDMC and community based clinical care centers of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) network . Suitable candidates must have completed a CPME-accredited residency program with extensive experience in hindfoot reconstructive surgery, and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, including reconstructive rearfoot and ankle. Academic participation on a local or national level is highly desired. Academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Responsibilities will include patient care, research, on-call coverage, and teaching of residents, students and fellows. Pay Range: $138,800 - $646,300 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
