The Analytics & Clinical Effectiveness (A&CE) Specialist at Stanford Medicine Children's Health is a key contributor to the Analytics & Clinical Effectiveness Department within the Center for Pediatric & Maternal Value (cpmV). This role involves collaborating closely with the Center for Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Celiac Disease. The Center for IBD and Celiac Disease provides children and young adults with the very latest solutions for a wide variety of digestive inflammatory diseases. This role involves collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and serves as an analytical thought partner to a successful clinical effectiveness program, emphasizing efficient and effective care management and innovative clinical process redesign. The specialist is responsible for in-depth data discovery, curating and analyzing comprehensive healthcare data to reveal impactful insights and support data-driven decision making and improvements. They translate complex business questions into effective analytics solutions, such as Business Intelligence reports, statistical models or interactive data visualizations, serving as a steward of data integrity and best practices. With a high sense of curiosity and keen attention to detail, the specialist integrates project management and improvement science to interpret analytic findings, communicate insights effectively, and support clinical performance improvement. The specialist identifies opportunities for improvement via evidence-based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and current performance in Quality, Safety, Service and Equity Key Performance Indicators.
