Provide frontline and escalated support for manufacturing systems and operational technology, including Zebra printers (ZPL configuration and troubleshooting), barcode scanners, production-floor workstations and displays, shop-floor networking, and connected IoT devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and network issues impacting production, with urgency and precision to minimize downtime.
Act as a primary responder for manufacturing system incidents and coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts when necessary.
Support data-related tasks and production workflows, including basic query troubleshooting (SQL, Splunk; Python is a plus).
Coordinate IT support with the broader IT team.
Maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation for supported systems and processes.
Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of IT experience supporting manufacturing technology, or a similar role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with manufacturing systems (MES, PLCs, SCADA).
Experience with industrial label printers (Zebra, ZPL, BarTender, etc.).
Experience supporting production environments or shop-floor systems.
