Quality testing includes raw material, in-process, and finished product testing and sampling as defined and procedures, including required additional testing. "Testing" includes not only the execution of assays but also any recordkeeping requirements and computer data entry.
Maintain the lab equipment and calibrations and an inventory of spare parts and reagents as required to ensure accurate and consistent results, and guarantee uptime.
Prompt communication when results are out of specification or tolerance range or abnormal in a way that protects the site and the customer. Technicians must maintain an open dialog with Production Operators to ensure product quality and provide testing support as needed.
Any other testing, including environmental, investigational, or regulatory as assigned or any other duty as assigned.
Maintain required training and assist in the training of new site personnel or any other duty as assigned
Accomplish any tasks related to the Quality, ESHS, Training, Production, Production Planning, Maintenance, or Logistics as assigned through the management system or any other duty as assigned.
Requirements
A minimum of an Associate degree or equivalent experience in a science related field or role (2 years).
A Bachelor of Science and study related to the field of chemistry in preferred.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel required.
Experience with SAP preferred
Basic understanding of statistics preferred
