Reporting to the Team Leader of Health Services, you will serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse providing nursing care focused on the comfort, health, and well-being of team members. You will deliver occupational health services within LPN scope of practice, support injury management and prevention efforts, and partner with cross-functional teams to promote a safe and healthy workplace. Schedule: minimum of two shifts per month, 8 hour shift A Taste of Your Responsibilities Perform occupational health services in the provision of supportive care under physician standing orders and RN supervision, as applicable. Provide nursing care for occupational and non-occupational conditions in alignment with Medical Evaluation Guidelines and within LPN scope of practice. Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications according to standing medication orders and physician direction. Prepare equipment and assist with examinations and treatments within LPN scope of practice. Observe, document, and maintain accurate records of patient care, conditions, reactions, and progress. Communicate work-related injuries and illnesses to the RN supervisor and third-party administrator. Assist with follow-up, maintenance, and documentation of workers' compensation cases. Maintain occupational health services records and reporting systems in compliance with OSHA, state, company, and legal requirements. Partner with health, safety, production, and human resources team members to support team member health. Support team member health promotion and education programs. Assist with plant health and safety goals and initiatives. Identify the need for additional medical evaluation and escalate to RN or physician as appropriate. Order and maintain health services supplies and personal safety equipment. Ingredients Required for Your Success Completion of an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Arkansas. One or more years of nursing experience; occupational health or manufacturing experience preferred. Current CPR / First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of occupational health regulations and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA. Physical Requirements More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require time in manufacturing facilities. When onsite, you may be required to walk throughout the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks requiring hand-eye coordination. You may also lift or carry materials of varying weight and size.
