Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for enhancements to internal custom applications
Translate operational needs into clear functional and technical specifications
Create user stories, workflows, use cases, and system documentation
Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and aligned with business objectives
IT & Development Collaboration
Act as the primary liaison between business users and development teams
Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and support solution design
Participate in system design discussions and provide business context
Support prioritization of features, enhancements, and bug fixes
System Improvements & Support
Analyze existing system functionality and identify opportunities for optimization and automation
Support continuous improvement of internal tools used across operations, warehouse, and distribution
Assist in troubleshooting system issues and identifying root causes
Testing & Implementation
Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios
Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements
Support system releases, deployments, and post-implementation validation
Assist with user training and documentation
Data & Reporting
Support data analysis efforts to validate system outputs and business logic
Collaborate on reporting needs and ensure data integrity across systems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
2-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or systems-focused roles
Experience working with custom-built applications or internal systems
Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Experience writing user stories, requirements, and technical documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
Experience supporting systems in operations, supply chain, or distribution environments
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Familiarity with databases (SQL) and data structures
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
A BA who is technically strong, not just process-focused
Someone comfortable working with developers and custom systems
Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable requirements
Strong attention to detail and ownership of deliverables
