Maintains inventory and acquires parts as needed to perform repairs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED with required years of experience or Technical School Diploma in Plumbing or related trade 3 years experience as a plumber in commercial or industrial setting or Less than 1 year with Technical School Diploma Ability to read drawings and figures to understand the layout of water supply, waste, and venting systems. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Skill in using hand and power tools and machines to measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes. Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Physical Demands Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
