We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional HSEQ Advisor to join our team in Queenstown, New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, environment, and quality management systems across our organization. You will work collaboratively with all levels of staff to foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with New Zealand regulations and industry standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in all HSEQ matters. Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification across all operational areas to identify potential workplace hazards Plan and execute internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions Maintain detailed HSEQ documentation, records, and databases; prepare reports and metrics for management review Provide professional guidance and support to management and staff on HSEQ matters and regulatory compliance Deliver training programs and awareness initiatives to promote HSEQ knowledge and best practices across the organization Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure organizational compliance with evolving standards Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and certification auditors, as required Analyze HSEQ performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and drive organizational performance Proven experience in HSEQ management, risk assessment, or related compliance roles Strong knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and quality management principles Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, investigations, and root cause analysis Proficiency in developing and implementing HSEQ management systems and procedures Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders Proficiency with data analysis tools and HSEQ management software Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred: Experience delivering HSEQ training and awareness programs Preferred: Background in a specific industry sector relevant to the organization's operations What's in it for me Permanent full-time employment 40 hours per week Company Ute/ Tools of trade Working hours Monday - Friday , rostered between 7.00am - 5.00pm Based in Queenstown, but operating throughout Central Otago How to apply To apply for this role click " I'm interested ".
