The Senior Assistant Director will assist with recruitment, outreach, and support strategies for undergraduate admission and retention efforts within USC Dornsife. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and skilled in project management, and will be strong in both written and oral communication.
Duties for this position may include:
Leading in-person and virtual information sessions to educate prospective students about USC's liberal arts college and counsel these students regarding university admission policies and procedures. Following up on applicant inquiries and offering solutions to admission-related questions.
Managing event logistics for a robust calendar of prospective, admitted, and current student events.
Overseeing communication and outreach efforts for the office, including work with developing email campaigns, webpages, and social media.
Managing a group of undergraduate student volunteers working with admission-related projects and events.
Staying current on a wide range of university policies, school-wide policies, and educational trends affecting undergraduate students, admission, and retention efforts. Serving as an information resource for the university community, particularly in the areas of undergraduate admission, scholarships, and retention efforts.
Working collaboratively with a team of staff members and undergraduate students on undergraduate admission and retention efforts.
Assisting with data collection and reporting.
