Videographer (Social Media)

Responsibilities

• Spearhead creative angles, hooks, and scripts for short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Own end-to-end content production - from concept and scripting to directing shoots and editing final deliverables
• Script and produce content for both English and Mandarin-speaking audiences
• Create short-form videos across formats - skits, street interviews, product storytelling, and brand campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to translate campaign briefs into compelling creative concepts
• Ensure all content is engineered to perform - not just look good
• Learn and grow into taking full creative ownership across client accounts

Requirements

• Experience level open - candidates without experience are welcome to apply if your portfolio speaks for itself
• You think in hooks and angles, not just formats
• Fluent in Mandarin - able to script and communicate naturally for Mandarin-speaking audiences
• Have a portfolio showing content that actually performed - not just looked nice
• Hands-on with filming and editing
• You actively study TikTok and Reels - not just scroll but analyse why content works
• Comfortable on camera and behind it
• Hungry to learn, grow, and eventually lead

A secondary part of your role will involve conceptualising and producing content for 1103's own social presence. We don't create content for likes. We create content that sells.
