About the role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner who builds strong relationships with employees and managers and acts as a trusted sparring partner to the business. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Act as a strategic HR partner to management Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance cycles Translate business priorities into effective HR strategies, policies, and solutions Strengthen people and culture by connecting employees and leaders Advise and support managers in complex employee relations, including absence management, balancing business needs with employee wellbeing Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including building and maintaining partnerships with schools and educational institutions to attract future talent Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition on recruitment strategy and execution Promote continuous learning by shaping and supporting development & growth initiatives Support people initiatives that enhance engagement, transparency, fairness, and retention. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field At least 5 years of experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner in a complex organisation Proven experience in project management and supporting organisational change initiatives Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand operational and strategic priorities Solid knowledge of Dutch labour legislation and HR governance Strong negotiation skills, able to balance business needs with HR policies and compliance Sound decision‑making skills, demonstrating good judgement in complex situations Excellent consultative and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with managers and external stakeholders.
