This temporary position is located at 1311 US HWY 301 South, Wilson, NC 27893 - Wilson County. This position is seasonal and will end in August 2026. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed in the class specification. Management Preferences: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Director and HR Consultant Draft, edit, and correspondence, reports, and memos Maintain office confidential files (paper and electronic) in compliance with records policies (e.g., personnel, FMLA, Workers Comp, etc.) Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Assist with reporting and researching additional HR processes and or functions Assist with recruitment, creating personnel packets, and the offboarding checklist Substantive knowledge of office or work unit procedures, methods, and practices The ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, spelling, proofreading, and office terminology to compose Communicating effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to record, compile, summarize, and analyze data Minimum Education and Experience Some state job postings say you can qualify by an "equivalent combination of education and experience."
