Understanding and interpreting the Customer Requirement Specification for new products
Contributing to technology platform and product design using tools such as TCAD, Cadence, and Klayout
Performing data analysis across wafer test, assembly, and qualification stages
Preparing clear technical summaries and communicating complex information to team members and wider stakeholders
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
Degree in Electronics Engineering , Semiconductor Physics , Electrical Engineering , or a related discipline
Several years of experience in power semiconductor technology development (Power MOSFETs, ideally Silicon), with strong understanding of device physics , process interactions , manufacturability , and failure mechanisms
E xcellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information for stakeholders , senior management , and cross‑functional teams
Ability to work on site based in Stockport on a Hybrid basis (3 days per week in office)
Desirable skills & experience
Project management experience with the ability to multitask across development streams
Demonstrated experience using design tools like TCAD, Cadence or Klayout
Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, Statistica or SPSS
Hands ‑ on experience with root cause analysis, including 8D, 5 ‑ Why, Fishbone diagrams and containment strategies
