Role Overview Our IT team functions as a strategic business partner, proposing innovative ideas and solutions that drive new capabilities We are a global team and collaborate globally to deliver services and solutions, focus on enterprise storage services in Hybrid Cloud Environment, testing new technologies, and providing solution consultancy and recommendations, that enhance productivity and accelerate our ability to drive innovations. What will you do in this role: At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in support and or engineering role, hands-on experience using AWS Cloud, Traditional storage domain, and infrastructure as Code practices, including : Enterprise storage solution platforms (e.g., HPE 3PAR, Dell Powermax and Power scale, NetApp CDOT) Excellent knowledge of AWS storage services (FSx, EFS and S3) and deployments Very good grasp on AWS Services Route53, VPC, Transient GW, Security Group and IAM Services and security management for deployments Experience building solution using AWS Services Lambda, Event Bridge DynamoDB and CloudWatch etc. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform is must Experience with scripting language such as Python or Unix shell scripts with strong focus towards automation. Experience with software solution design and documentation Code development using GitHub Tool and Git Code Management Practices Experience and knowledge of using GitHub Actions or Jenkins for CI/CD Designing and deploying AWS services using solution design and deployment approach Ability to articulate the solution requirements, present solution to customers and build solution using automations wherever applicable. Experience with developing self-services using ServiceNOW SRM will be an advantage for this role Knowing Kubernetes and container orchestration will an advantage Proven experience working and supporting Hybrid cloud environments Experience delivering products and features using Agile/Scrum methodologies. knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nobel9, or similar platforms. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience focussed on: Operational ITIL support processes and managing platform support KPIs Supporting enterprise-class storage HW refresh, patching and upgrades, capacity management tasks and participate and handle performance troubleshooting calls. Hands-on experience leading storage data-migration projects as technical SME, and handling escalations as SME Experience with infrastructure, network, or security issues troubleshooting. Primary Job Responsibilities: Architect, design, and support on-premises and cloud storage infrastructure technologies as senior product engineer role. Connect with internal customers to take requirements and translate them into product features and deliver services aligned to our product offerings. Independently identify, evaluate, and engineer technologies within storage services (Block, File, Object) both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS/Azure). Develop, test, document, and transition storage infrastructure to operations. Plan and execute proof-of-concept work for new technologies and features, overseeing the entire cycle from idea to acceptance and finally implementation.
