About the role
This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR), Asset Marketing & Management Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The incumbent is responsible for the management and resolution of loans and other assets that have been acquired from failed financial institutions or have been included in a Shared Loss Agreement or a Joint Venture Agreement with FDIC. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience serving as principal relationship manager at regional or national banks, commercial finance companies, or private equity firms analyzing and underwriting loan level information to support credit decisions or risk assessments involving complex commercial assets of greater than $25 million.
