About the role

The OEX Master is responsible for executing projects that drive improvements in OEE and GCC, while fostering a culture of operational excellence by enabling and coaching plant personnel in the use of relevant tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with OEX teams and other functions to solve problems using Lean principles
  • Plan, lead, and promote focused Gemba Walks, gathering insights and driving action plans
  • Ensure project execution and progress according to plan
  • Share best practices across departments and with other plants
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with OEX principles under the CMS 2.0 model
  • Advise supervisors and operators on key decisions to anticipate monthly and yearly results
  • Guide and coach leaders on the Daily Management System (DMS)
  • Provide guidance on proper use of tools, systems, and CMS 2.0 (OEX model)
  • Promote understanding of tools and systems to drive results
  • Deliver training aligned with project needs
  • Empower operational teams to use tools and systems effectively
  • Support and promote the OEX recognition system
