With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, the company is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients that would benefit through our out-patient clinic partnerships. The Wound Care Liaison is responsible for creating urgency around the Wound Care Center's value proposition within their community to referring providers and patients that could benefit from the differentiated, quality care provided by Healogics. The Wound Care Liaison establishes ongoing relationships with various referring providers, hospital departments, and the community, while providing insight into the Patient First care and results Healogics delivers. All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Establishes strategic patient growth campaigns for the wound care programs within their territory to plan, coordinate, and execute activities directed toward increasing appropriate patient referrals to the wound care center(s) to ensure Patient First outcomes to all who would benefit. Collaborates with Hospital and Physician Territory Leadership and the Home Office Marketing Team to best determine key target referral sources, and develops a systematic approach to build those customer relationships and increase appropriate wound care center referrals. Generates timely, weekly, field visit reports and submits/presents monthly field visit results to CDD and other identified stakeholders. Reports market results and highlights to CDD and identified stakeholders if necessary. Maintains, monitors and updates the list of Physician Practice(s) within a given radius of the hospital on an ongoing basis in established platforms for relationship tracking. Visits Physician Practices and interacts with key physicians and staff to provide awareness of the Wound Care Center program, using educational marketing materials provide by Home Office Marketing, campaigns and pre-call plans. Incorporate CE tools, i.e., WoundSuite Navigator, to leverage optimal education and awareness to the referring physician community. Develop and maintain comprehensive territory plan with prioritization and referral specialty segmentations to include existing referring physicians, prospective referring physician, Hospital employed physicians, and appropriate hospital departments. Physician office interactions and the visits with the Physician Practices in the Healogics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and should include a mix of prospective and current referring physicians. Serves as the "voice of the referring physician marketplace" to initiate and recommend services and tools to better serve referring physicians. Maintains close relationships with Center leadership to maintain a close understanding of Center offerings, operations and progress within the wound care community. Assists in educating site staff and physicians on referring physician opportunities. Communicates and work closely with the wound care center and other identified stakeholders regarding goals, targets, and other relevant referral development information, as needed. Performs other duties as required. Required Education, Experience and Credentials: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Public Relations and four (4) or more years of experience in medical sales, marketing or public relations OR High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) and six (6) or more years of relevant experience in medical sales, marketing or public relations Experience in arranging visits to physicians and interfacing with those physicians, their nurses and front office personnel preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General knowledge and understanding of the wound care industry and trends, as well as familiarity with the local market Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills in a group setting or on a one-on-one basis Ability to translate technical language into layman's terms Outstanding customer service and follow-up skills Demonstrated relationship building skil
