JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide superior field support on Renewal by Andersen products by performing services AND doing technical measures prior to installation (whichever is needed) Primary Responsibilities: - Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products. -Analyze and resolve complex/escalated customers situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner. -Keep team member informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues. - Follows established Renewal processes, making recommendations for process improvement; keeps current on RbA product and installation process changes; recommends, and may write, technical tips for Renewal installation or service; helps maintain an updated service procedure manual -Keep service area neat and organized, inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed; provide detailed information to Service CSRs. - Accurately measure dimensions and determine installation processes for windows and doors. Provide accurate measurements and documentation of job-related circumstances in a timely fashion - Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations of cost effective, installed window and door replacements; adapts product specifications to the installation requirements, utilizing a thorough knowledge of all Renewal products - Confirms details within the quoted sales contract to assure customer expectations are in alignment with product and installation process -Advanced knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors. - Completes and submits required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough, and completed in a timely manner; portrays a professional image with clothing, vehicle, and personal actions within the home; provides a high level of customer satisfaction QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: -High School degree and valid driver's license with clean driving record - Renewal installation experience -Meets the skills and competency requirements needed for Service Technician I -Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors. Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, door components, window coverings, and Hardware -Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions -Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements
