For more information about Draper, visit www.draper.com . Job Description Summary: Within the Operations division, the Master Scheduler is critical to managing Draper Production Operations. This role is responsible for owning and driving our integrated production schedules. This is a hands-on role supporting manufacturing operations and is based onsite at our Cambridge, MA facility to enable close collaboration with production teams. In this pivotal role, you will be the central hub for all planning activities, transforming customer demand and material availability into a feasible, optimized manufacturing plan. Your expertise will be critical in balancing capacity, on-time delivery, and inventory levels to ensure our production floor operates at maximum efficiency and our customers receive their high-quality assemblies as promised. You will update status per the business rhythm, run metrics, and meet with program leadership to identify schedule slips and mitigate risks. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, run and interpret schedule metrics to give PMs and CAMs the best information for program execution and direction, and will be the Planning subject matter expert for their programs. This role is an onsite position and is not eligible for remote work. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Develops the Master schedule, material requirements lists and production and labor plans for complex products and/or production or labor processes where the manufacturing processes are new and/or variable. Reviews engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements to support manufacturing schedules. Works with Supply Chain to obtain and schedule materials and labor based on production and labor forecasts. Works with Engineering and related design areas to develop tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization. May provide work leadership for lower level employees (but no supervisory responsibility). Plan and report on high visibility priority programs requiring detailed procurement requirements and schedule adherence Perform inventory analysis and launch purchase requisitions within MRP. Create Purchase Requisitions, if required, in ERP. Interface with internal customers to convey obsolescence and lead time issues. Provide input to a cross-functional team at Production meetings. Develop and distribute production schedules to key stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex, customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members, program leadership, and non-technical personnel. Experience with Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong knowledge of Operations and ERP systems (EPICOR and Unanet preferred) Strong understanding of FAR/ DFAR, ITAR and ISO requirements. Be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands. Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience
