Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all schools to a high standard
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
• Carry out deep cleaning tasks during school holidays or scheduled closures
• Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively (e.g. floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners)
• Replenish cleaning supplies, soap dispensers, toilet rolls, and paper towels as needed
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with site procedures and environmental standards
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the supervisor promptly
• Role Criteria:
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to follow instructions accurately
• Desirable:
• Previous cleaning experience

Annual salary: up to £13,988.00 Cleaner Location: Dingwall Academy Salary: £13,988 per annum, £13.45 an hour Permanent, Part-time - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm Mears Group has recently agreed the sale of its Facilities Management (Morrison Facilities Services) business to Apleona UK, a leading facilities management provider.
