The Litigation Coordinator is responsible for general administrative and accounting functions within the Legal department.
Essential Functions:
Conduct thorough reviews of litigation/claims documents to identify policy and claims details accurately.
Process litigation/claims documents in a client portal, including tasks like opening, categorizing, archiving, and distributing materials to clients.
Establish effective communication with external parties regarding litigation/claims documents, including email drafting and phone calls.
Prioritize precision in data entry and document processing, with a focus on accuracy.
Execute specialized processing tasks as required by the role.
Assist in managing incoming calls requiring additional by gathering information from caller and directing callers to the appropriate resource.
Maintain a foundational understanding of SNC's products and markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
Offer administrative support to management as required.
Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as needed or requested.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in computer usage.
Adaptability to handle a mix of responsibilities.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle numerous tasks at once.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong customer service acumen.
Solid organizational abilities.
Keen attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Some college education is preferred.
Prior experience in an insurance company or agency is advantageous.
