One year of experience with Pima County as a Custodian I or closely related classification as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.

Essential Functions:

May supervise and participate in loading, unloading, and moving supplies, equipment, and furniture;
Orders and maintains an inventory of various custodial equipment and supplies;
Prepares and maintains necessary records and reports;
Prepares cleaning and disinfectant solutions and ensures proper disposal;
May perform more difficult maintenance tasks;
May inspect equipment to determine needs for new parts, repairs, overhauls, and replacements;
May distribute and collect keys and/or pagers;
May be assigned to work in a jail or detention center.
