Your Team, Your Impact As a Hardware and Silicon Validation Staff Engineer at Marvell, you'll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world. What You Can Expect Design and develop firmware to validate various IPs, including security IPs (e.g., Caliptra), DMA, and boot sequences. Develop comprehensive SoC validation plans encompassing functional, performance, and compliance testing. Execute validation at both SoC and subsystem levels for multiprocessor architectures. Validate and debug multiple SoC interfaces, including SAS, SATA, UFS, USB, DDR, SPI, I2C, and UART. Develop and enhance firmware, test code, and Linux drivers to support validation activities. Perform SoC bring-up, boot validation, and end-to-end system verification. Develop validation test suites and automation frameworks using C, C++, Python, and Rust. Debug issues across hardware, firmware, operating system, and driver layers, and drive resolution. Collaborate closely with design, firmware, board, and design verification (DV) teams. Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers for validation and debugging. Ensure protocol compliance and generate detailed validation reports.
