The Jr. Engineer, Process Automation will play a key role in driving process innovation through engineering automation solutions. You will develop and implement systems that enable automated data collection, process control monitoring, and real-time data availability, helping improve operational efficiency and decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for automation-related requirements in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and IT teams.
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that support manufacturing and business processes.
Deliver line analytics and develop Spotfire dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Enable seamless integration of paperless systems across multiple applications and platforms.
Support large-scale automation and digitalization projects through project monitoring, stakeholder communication, and technical implementation.
Evaluate automation project requests, assess business impact, and prioritize initiatives accordingly.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability through effective process monitoring and system integration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
At least 2 years of experience in system integration, automation, or web development.
Experience with paperless systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration is an advantage.
Understanding of semiconductor assembly and test manufacturing processes is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in software development and system integration.
Proficiency in SQL, PHP, JavaScript, Java, and Python.
Experience in Spotfire dashboard development and advanced analytics.
Knowledge of MES integration and SECS/GEM communication protocols.
Familiarity with automation technologies and real-time data monitoring systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent project management and time management capabilities.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
