An earned Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or closely related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university.
A JD will be considered with appropriate experience in criminal justice.
At least 5 years of experience working directly for a criminal justice agency.
Experience teaching college criminal justice or related courses.
Experience with CANVAS or other online learning management systems.
Flexibility of schedule to teach live classes at any of the three main campuses during the morning, afternoon, or evening.

Job Description
Responsibilities of a Part-Time Criminal Justice Instructor Include but Are Not Limited to
This position's primary responsibility is teaching live classes, both day and evening, at any of the three main CSN campuses.
Lecture for a variety of criminal justice courses.
Course assignments may be multi-campus with the possibility of day or evening classes.
Develop lesson plans, syllabi, and course materials in conjunction with Department Chair.
Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
Provide an excellent teaching experience as well as student advisement, recruitment activities and program/curriculum development.
