Must be able to do basic mathematical computations

1 year previous experience in similar position, preferably in an institutional setting
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR in order to be covered under the Company's insurance policy

Job Summary:
As the Maintenance Person, you perform general, routine maintenance and servicing operations through the hospital plant and area as directed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives , quality assurance programs, and safety standards .
2. Completes work orders and PMs in a timely manner .
3. Performs minor repairs on equipment and machinery and to buildings and facilities, including painting, plastering, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical power.
4. Performs maintenance, repair, or replacement of broken parts .
5. Maintains all required departmental records, reports, and files as required .
6. Keeps work areas orderly, clean, and safe. Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.
7. Performs other job duties as requested .
