About the role
The Investigator will investigate allegations of employee misconduct and/or employee unfitness pertaining to Agency employees. The Investigator will perform surveillances, gather and review related evidence, conduct investigative interviews, testify at administrative proceedings and perform all related administrative duties including drafting and editing transcriptions, memoranda and disciplinary reports. The Investigator will request and obtain documentation from relevant Federal, State and Local Courts, District Attorney Offices and Police Departments. INVESTIGATOR (EMPLOYEE DISCIPL - 31173 (1)A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college; or (2)A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in one or more of the fields of accounting, auditing, correction administration, criminal justice administration and planning, forensic science, human resources administration, investigation, labor relations, law enforcement, police science, security, or in a major operational area of the agency in which the appointment is to be made; or (3)Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
