We are looking for Automotive dealership-experienced individuals who understand the workflows in a variety of departments and can add immediate value to our accounting team. Essential Duties: The primary duties of this role are directly related to general business operations and this individual is responsible for accurate and timely completion of various accounting and administrative functions. Position may include responsibilities in the following areas: Reconciles general ledger accounts Warranty activations and cancellations Accounts payable/accounts receivable Controls all posted documents, which may include time records, vehicle deals, commissions, and inventory additions/adjustments Prepares daily cash position report Prepares daily sales activity report Maintains and reconciles petty cash accounts Approves adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate Assists in completion of annual review/audit Stays abreast of current factory incentives and codes deliveries on dealership computer system accordingly Reviews sales commission/chargeback detail reports Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan and works with bank representatives Oversees collection of past due accounts Compiles information and prepares ad-hoc reports as requested by senior management Maintains a professional appearance
