About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial operations at Goodfire as we experience a period of rapid growth. You will be responsible for supporting monthly and quarterly reporting, owning our financial models, and building the infrastructure to scale our finance function. Experience managing payments, AP/AR, and monthly close processes. Fluent with financial systems and tools (Quickbooks, Excel).

High agency and low ego. Willing to go deep on topics outside your core competency and learn quickly.

Required experience

4-6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial operations - ideally at a startup or high-growth environment.

Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (CPA or accounting background a plus, but not required if you've developed equivalent expertise).

Technical competency. You should be comfortable engaging with engineering and infrastructure concepts, including compute cost dynamics.
