Multi Skilled Engineer

Responsibilities

• The main purpose of the job is to prevent any malfunction of the equipment, apparatus, machinery or systems that are used in the production process and carries out tasks to prevent future disturbances.
• You may also support other facilities than production, such as R&D laboratories, office facilities , as well as technical buildings (utilities) and systems for logistics and storage. The job takes care of any trouble shooting in order to keep to production process runnin g.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns across the site, you will be responsible for fault finding and repair across both mechanical systems and electrical/automation controls.
• Who we're looking for
• We're looking for a capable, hands-on engineer who can work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment where reliability is critical.
• You'll also need:
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environmen t.
• Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems (or ideally strong in one, and willingness to develop the other ) . v
• Experience with both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support .
• Comfortable working shifts and adapting to operational demands
• Ability to work independently as part of a small shift team
• Experience with automation, controls, conveyors, or packaging equipment is desirable.
• Previous experience in high-risk or regulated environments (e.g. DSEAR, food/feed production) .
