WHO CAN APPLY:GROUP IR - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E4/SPC) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program with the HRO. Military Grades: Enlisted Member (E1/PVT - E4/SPC) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience, education, or training in providing support for recruitment and placement, military technician compatibility, permanent change of station moves, pay setting, recruitment/retention/relocation (3R) incentives, advanced in-hire rates, and reduction-in-force actions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education, and training, equivalent to at least the GS-9 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience, education or training advising and supporting State managers, supervisors, and the Human Resources Officer on recruitment and placement matters for a variety of professional, administrative, technical, and clerical occupations. Experience, education or training providing oversight and expertise to ensure candidate eligibility determinations are within program and policy standards. Experience, education or training administering and providing oversight for the use of special employment programs (e.g., Upward Mobility, or DoD Priority Referral System) to ensure the continuance of a balanced placement program. Experience, education or training developing, coordinating, and maintaining state plans/guidance.
