The Associate Director is the operational lead for Lilly's Anti-Corruption Due Diligence (ACDD) programme. You will lead end-to-end ACDD operations, drive the execution of programme transformation initiatives, and serve as a key subject matter resource on ABAC due diligence within the Ethics & Compliance function. The role requires depth and breadth of expertise in anti-corruption due diligence, with decisions that impact the function's ability to demonstrate active management under DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs (ECCP) standards, the FCPA, the UK Bribery Act, the EU Anti-Corruption Directive, the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, and applicable local laws globally. Key Accountabilities: 1.ACDD Programme Leadership Lead and drive the end-to-end due diligence process in accordance with corporate policy, the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, EU Anti-Corruption Directive, OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, and applicable local laws and regulations globally. Lead and manage due diligence reviews on proposed and existing third parties, ensuring risk-proportionate assessment, timely completion, and quality documentation that meets regulatory defensibility standards. Manage day-to-day ACDD operations including procedural documentation, case assignment, workflow management, SLA adherence, and quality assurance across the ACCoE team. Anticipate ACDD operational risks and resolve complex due diligence escalations involving high-risk third parties. Act as the lead subject matter expert across all geographies, advising E&C personnel and business partners on ACDD requirements, risk implications, and compliance expectations. Troubleshoot technology platform issues that impact programme delivery and oversee operational relationships with ACDD vendors including performance monitoring, issue escalation, and service-level accountability. 2 . ABAC assessments : Lead global ABAC assessments of third parties annually, develop data-driven candidate selection process, formulate findings into executive reports, create metrics and provide actionable insights to drive ABAC programme enhancements. 3. Programme Transformation, Innovation, and Capabilities Lead ACDD transformation execution as directed by the Senior Director, drive adoption of new platforms and processes, anticipate implementation challenges, and deliver effective solutions. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce review times, strengthen our risk-based approach, while enhancing the Vendor and Business experience. Innovate and deploy responsible AI and technology solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the programme Translate future-state programme design into documented operational requirements and documented standards and guidance. Drive adoption of new technology platforms and workflows within the ACCoE team, ensuring training, documentation, and change management are executed effectively. Influence cross-functional partners on ACDD requirements and process design, advocating for programme needs with clarity and evidence.
