We are seeking a part-time team member for a high-volume clinic. The Customer Service Advocate serves as direct contact for patients via telephone, in-person, or online platform. Essential Functions: - Greets patients - Answers multi-line telephone system in a professional manner - Schedules patients on a walk-in/urgent care schedule - Accurately registers patients using the UMCP computer system - Ensures all documents and forms are presented, explained, and signed at time of registration - Obtains appropriate signed consent forms - Obtains all necessary information to perform benefits verifications - Collects co-pay or amount required at time of service - Works to provide a friendly, calm and professional environment for a sick patient, their family and friends Additional Responsibilities: Additional duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have experience in meeting people and dealing with them under adverse conditions. General computer skills. Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills. Must be capable of learning quickly and accepting change.
