Operate standard wafer fabrication (equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and demonstrate working knowledge of OSHA regulations
Accurately record and enter operational data into designated logs, forms, or digital systems
Diagnose process discrepancies, develop effective solutions, and execute corrective actions to ensure accurate wafer processing and prevent defects
Identify potential issues in wafer processing, independently develop and implement solutions to successfully complete each process step
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to communicate findings, escalate complex problems, and implement corrective actions

Requirements/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3 - 5 years of experience in a wafer fabrication or manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Diffusion, Photolithography, and Wet Etch processes is preferred
Experience with the safe handling and disposal of acids, solvents, and other hazardous chemicals preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control requirements
Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician performs wafer fabrication processes for semiconductor device production in a cleanroom environment, following detailed written procedures and process specifications. This role is responsible for independently troubleshooting process-related issues, identifying root causes, and proposing effective solutions. The technician collaborates closely with engineering to implement corrective actions, ensure process stability, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
The scheduled working hours for this position are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
