Perform ex-ante and ex-post analysis of portfolio and investment performance across return, risk and impact dimensions, identifying key drivers of performance
Support investment selection, allocation and portfolio construction, including ESG and impact integration
Analyse portfolio characteristics such as allocations, concentration, costs, and regional and sub-asset class exposures
Provide insights on risk and performance metrics across financial and ESG/impact dimensions
Monitor and analyse global economic and financial market developments across private and listed markets
Contribute to forward-looking assessments of market opportunities, risks and expected returns
Support investment due diligence, including manager research, documentation and analysis of investment structures
Review external databases to identify prospective investment managers
Analyse and review legal documentation (e.g. LPAs, prospectuses)
Maintain and enhance management information and client reporting
Contribute to ESG screenings and impact performance assessments
Support the development and improvement of analytical tools, systems and processes
Experience & Skills
Master's degree in Econometrics, Finance, Economics, Physics, Accounting or a related field
0-3 years of experience in asset management, investment research, or a fund-of-funds / manager selection environment
Strong interest in private markets (private equity, venture capital, private credit) and solid understanding of listed markets
Demonstrated interest in investing and financial markets
Strong affinity with responsible and impact investing
Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and data-handling skills
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with VBA, Python or similar tools is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CFA (or similar) completed or in progress is an advantage
Fluent in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus
Valid EU work permit

Investment & Strategy Research (ISR)
The Investment & Strategy Research (ISR) team supports investment teams and the broader company strategy through high-quality research and analytics. The team contributes directly to investment outcomes by providing portfolio insights, market analysis and forward-looking investment recommendations, aligned with Anthos' Responsible Investment (RI) strategy.
The team consists of analysts with deep expertise in a primary asset class and a strong understanding of adjacent asset classes, ensuring broad analytical coverage across portfolios. ISR works closely with Portfolio Management, the Responsible Investment function and Client Advisory & Solutions.
Role Overview
As a Working Student/Junior Investment Analyst, you will contribute to asset class and cross-asset research, with a primary focus on Private Equity and Multi-Asset Impact Investing. You will act as a key link between ISR and portfolio management teams, supporting investment decision-making through structured analysis, market insights and portfolio monitoring.
You will also contribute to thematic and top-down research projects that cut across asset classes, including responsible investing integration, impact measurement and strategic innovation topics.
