Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning and take downs.
Assist in the removal of trees when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the process.
Assist in general tree care duties, such as mulching, stump grinding, and site cleanup.
Operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders, when required.
Support the Crew Leader in daily operations and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Communicate job progress, timelines, and any issues to the Crew Leader to ensure customer expectations are met.
Requirements
1-3 years of hands-on experience in climbing trees and performing tree care services, including pruning and take downs.
Familiarity with tree species, growth patterns, and general tree health is a plus.
Experience using chainsaws, ropes, harnesses, and other tree climbing equipment.
Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to operate ground-based equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
Comfortable working at heights and in challenging outdoor conditions.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
