Leads the Support Organization (Receiving and Inventory Control), defines and implements industry leading distribution and labor management strategies, standards, and guidelines at the Americas Distribution Center (ADC). Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages exempt/non-exempt Distribution team members across two shifts in department of responsibility. Duties/Responsibilities: Plans and organizes daily activities related to department strategy. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff over assigned department. Maintains regular performance discussion with employees and ensures discussions are held with all employees within assigned department. Measures productivity and quality by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports. Maintains and reports on department KPIs monthly. Coordinates with other departments such as human resources, finance, and quality to ensure successful operations. Assists in planning departmental budgets and monitors budget adherence. Determines labor needs to meet departmental labor management goals. Ensures department related process documents are complete and employee training is effective. Performs other related duties as required. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of industry standard Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Knowledge and experience with labor management, engineered labor standards and managing to performance standards. Decision Making and Problem Solving - demonstrated ability to act in solving problems while exhibiting judgement and a realistic understanding of issues. Excellent attention to details; demonstrated ability to use reason, even when dealing with sensitive topics. Verbal and Written Communication - demonstrated ability to clearly present information through the spoken word, write clearly, and effectively present ideas/topics to all levels of site leadership. Education and Experience: BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically, 3-5 years of successful experience in Inventory Management. Experience managing both direct and contract work force in a competitive labor environment. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. The base pay range for this position is: $99,930 - $137,401 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
