Perform routine and preventive maintenance work on wet etch equipment systems
Work independently and in a team environment when performing physically demanding technical tasks
Apply appropriate mechanical and chemical handling techniques to maintain wet etch chambers, tanks, and subsystems
Operate and maintain wet etch processing equipment per standard operating procedures
Monitor chemical concentrations, temperature, etching parameters, and equipment performance; maintain detailed logs
Identify equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting under supervision
Rebuild sub-assemblies and maintain vacuum and fluid delivery systems
Use and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hazardous material safety protocols
Assist senior technicians in verification testing of equipment upon completion of preventive maintenance
Handle hazardous chemicals safely following all protocols and EHS requirements
Maintain strict compliance with safety policies, EHS requirements, and cleanroom protocols
Provide input to assist with development and optimization of equipment preventive maintenance schedules
Document maintenance records and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Shift: Front Nights (B) every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday 7pm-7:12pm
Requirements/Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years' work-related experience/training in semiconductor equipment maintenance or chemical processing equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Willingness to obtain hazardous materials handling certifications and chemical safety training; follow all PPE requirements
Strong communication skills
Ability to work shift work including nights and weekends
Requirements
Associate degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology; military electronics certificate
Prior semiconductor manufacturing or equipment operation experience
Familiarity with wet chemical etching processes or etch chemistry
Practical knowledge and application of electronics, mechanics, vacuum theory, safety and cleanroom protocol, and IC fabrication
Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to learn operational concepts of systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and flow charts
Ability to set up, operate and interpret output of test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital volt-ohm meters, current and voltage sources, chart recorders)

Stand for extended periods; climb ladders and work at heights
Manual dexterity for precise component handling
Adequate vision and hearing for equipment operation
Controlled exposure to hazardous chemicals with proper ventilation and safety equipment
Shift work in temperature-controlled cleanroom and non-cleanroom fab environments
Physically demanding technical tasks requiring strength and stamina
